Who is eligible to Join?

Membership in Tuscaloosa VA Federal Credit Union is a valuable benefit for all eligible individuals.  We have a strong tradition of providing quality financial products and services, with exceptional service and value.  Everything we do is for the benefit of our members and we take this responsibility seriously.  We strive to provide products and services that will help you build wealth and gain financial freedom.

You are eligible to join Tuscaloosa VA Federal Credit Union if:

• You live, work, worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
• You live, work, worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Sumter County, Alabama.
• You are an “immediate family member” or live in the same “household” of an existing member or an individual eligible for membership.

Once a Member, Always a Member! 

This means that membership is for life, even if you move, change jobs or retire.

“Immediate Family Member” is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild.  This includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships.

“Household” is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.
